Information about Claire
I am an experienced Geography Teacher, Examiner and former Geography Lecturer (at the School of Geographical Sciences at Bristol University and UWE) who has also published geography-based revision material for Hodder Education and Zig-Zag. I have tutored pupils with a range of different ability levels and academic needs. I offer a bespoke service for every pupil with a range of revision resources, marked model answers and revision timetables. As an examiner for AQA & OCR, I also mark tutee work at the correct, examiner level (which gives tutees a sense of exactly what goals they can achieve).
Availability: Tuesdays, Thursdays, evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have been an AQA Geography Examiner for the last 6 years (for AS & A2 Levels). Before that, I examined for OCR. I am an experienced teacher and I have published geography revision material for ZIGZAG. I have tutored pupils for the last 4 years and I provide them with the key exam techniques they require to get ahead.

Claire tutored my son for A level Geography. I cannot praise Claire enough. She was patient, very supportive, went above and beyond to really understand his strengths and weaknesses. Her tips and advice were invaluable. I would highly recommend her to anyone. My son achieved an A grade and gained entry to a Russell Group University.

Claire has been very helpful giving my daughter some guidance for her Geography NEA. Although my daughter has only used her a few times she was really pleased with her sessions and will definitely consider using her again as the year progresses.
