I am sociable, calm, cheerful and motivated to work. I use my initiative effectively in teaching and supporting colleagues and learners.

I have my first bachelors degree in Psychology (graduated with 2:1), first masters degree in Applied Psychological Research and second masters degree in Health and Social Care (Public Health Pathway). Also, I have level 3 health and Social Care diploma (children and young people).

I am a qualified teacher / assessor. I have my A1 / AVA award, as well as Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). I have achieved IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) training.

I have completed numerous trainings relevant to health and social care setting such as first aid, equality and diversity, safeguarding and protection, health and safety, person-centred approach, moving and handling, understanding and supporting individuals with learning disabilities, to list but a few.

Availability: I am available to work on Monday, Wednesdays and Friday evenings (except last Friday of every month) from 5.30pm till 7.30pm.

Also, I prefer learners coming to my location as I have a study room that is accessible via the side gate, making it private for learners. However, I can meet learners at their preferred location, provided it is safe for purpose - transport allowance applies

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have worked as a Learning Supporter and later progressed as a Senior Learning Supporter in a Special Education Need (SEN) college. Also, I have worked as a Learning Coordinator with a training provider training and assessing adults in health and social care sector to achieve their diploma qualifications in health and social care at level 2 and 3. I have worked as an instructor in health and social care assessing students at level 2 and 3. I assessed both knowledge-based (taught courses) and competence-based (observations and witness testimonies) learning.

Currently, I am a Lecturer in a college within North East of England. I cover different units at level 3 such as nutrition, safeguarding, counseling, health and safety, equality, diversity and rights, public health, health promotion, development through life stages, independent learning, caring for children and young people, duty of care, person-centred approach, communication, handling information, principles of infection control, causes and effects of infection, to list but a few.

I am qualified to train and assess learners up to level 5. I explore learners preferred methods of learning and utilise the most applicable ones. I conduct tutorials and progress reviews to establish the progress of my students and set SMART targets for them.

I am happy to accommodate learners working towards their qualifications in Psychology and Health and Social Care at O`level, A level and Foundation degree level. I am conversant with BTEC and NCFE rules.
