I have mathematics degree (2.1) and a PGCE in secondary mathematics. I have taught for over 9 years. My key responsibilities lie with KS4 students (Yr 10/Yr11) including setting intervention group, have taught a variety of sets through KS3/KS4 to develop learning.

Key Skills:

-Confident in developing tuition lessons and unit plans for Year 7 - 11 (KS3- KS4)

-Competently delivered tuition lessons that involve more pupil functional skills and exploration.

-Effective in using formative strategies to develop pupil progress

- Reflective teacher and tutor improving practice through from critical evaluations

- Promote high expectations for all pupils, using key questioning

Experience: My experience involves teaching secondary mathematics within a mixed and single sex environment across disadvantaged areas. I have taught new topics as well as assisting pupils for exam revision.

I am currently a STEM ambassador running a Lunar Maths club where students learn mathematical facts and methods about the moon. I am confident using online platforms to set tasks and quizzes.

I additionally hold 12 years experience in the telecom industry and 5 months in a digital marketing agency. My main responsibilities involved delivering proposals, completing saving analyses, managing small teams, building trusted relationships and producing weekly sales reports.
