I am a qualified teacher with a 2:1 B.A Hons in History and English from Loughborough University. I then went on to complete my PGDE and Teach First graduate scheme at UCL in Primary education and Leadership where I qualified as an outstanding teacher. During my teaching journey I have specialized in primary education and covered a range of age groups and learning difficulties. I am friendly, patient and experienced in building confidence and ensuring my students fulfil their potential. I have always been passionate about education, in particular core subjects and I have worked in both challenging environments and outstanding schools. I work hard to build up this confidence through my positive approach and clear explanations. As a result, I am a good motivator and confidence builder. I am intuitive, patient and quick to understand the specific needs of the student.

Alongside subject specific tutoring I am able to provide skills and techniques to support pupils who have dyslexia. This could be with essay writing in English and History until KS3 level.

Availability: Due to COVID I am currently available to tutor online via zoom or teams and provide interactive whiteboards. Or if you feel that you need face to face I am able to tutor in person at Redbridge Library only.

Experience: I have tutoring and teaching experience from Year 1 - KS3, with most students preparing for their SATS test or preparing for secondary school. I have experience of both one-one and to small groups with more limited experience tutoring larger groups.

Primary education provides a meticulous boost to a child and the fundamentals for future education. The key objective of the primary education is to teach children to think analytically, to achieve high living standards, to face the challenges posed by technological development and advancement of citizenship and basic values. I believe that a strong primary education sets the foundation for any future.
