I have over a decade of teaching experience in a range of settings including schools, colleges and alternative provision.
A great deal of my teaching involves supporting young people with SEN, Emotional/Behavioural/Mental Health Issues.
Experienced in planning schemes of work and individual sessions from scratch designed to meet the needs of specific students. I am known for being able to develop rapport with even the most challenging of students as a result of tremendous empathy, buckets of patience and a range of strategies to make lessons interesting and engaging.
I cover Flintshire and Denbighshire.
Availability: Most weekday evenings and weekends.
I currently travel to my clients or work in public libraries.
I will provide ID on arrival so you know the student is safe.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I have taught Media Studies (upto A2 and Extended National Diploma)and English (GCSE) in a range of settings and across age groups.
FE colleges,mainstream high schools, SEN schools, SEN units within mainstream schools, private tuition, visiting tutor for children in care and a Pupil Referral Unit. Age range to date 8 - 18 years.
