Experience: I am currently in my third year studying Education Studies at Derby University. I have a genuine interest in working with students to help support, develop and promote confidence in subject areas. Since the year 2010, I have worked in Education settings supporting students who have learning difficulties and delays.

I currently work as a specialist Teaching Assistant providing interventions to children aged 5-11. My specialist subject knowledge is based on communication and language. I enjoy teaching in a fun and versatile, way where my students are engaged and feel confident and comfortable to participate. I acknowledge all students as unique individuals, therefore my planning, style of teaching and organisation of subject areas are adapted to suit individual needs and preferences.

To ensure that my knowledge of Maths and English are to standards I regularly attend training sessions to help develop my skills in these curriculum areas.
