I am a senior scientist with a PhD in molecular biology specialising human disease genetics. I completed my studies in Australia but I have more than 10 years experience working as a scientist at various universities in the U.K. In addition to research, I have been actively involved in teaching at high school and university level. I have more than 5 years of experience tutoring in general sciences, biology, chemistry and physics from KS2, KS3, GCSEs and A level. I am passionate about making science interesting and relevant to pupils and getting them enthusiastic about learning. I find this process throughly enjoyable.
Availability: I am flexible and available to tutor 9-5pm during the week except Tuesdays and Thursdays,

Experience: I have taught and supervised many undergraduate and post graduate students during my research work as a scientist in academia.
This included, supervision, laboratory training, mentoring scientific projects, assignments, coursework, CV/personal statement assessment, and editorial guidance.
I have also provided lectures in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology at undergraduate and post graduate level relevant to science degrees.
In addition, as a private tutor , I have taught many students in GCSE, KS3 general science, biology, physics and chemistry, A level biology, BTECH healthcare courses, and university level students. I provide summary notes, study notes, exam preparation and revision and able to accommodate all abilities and study modes.
Alongside my PhD I worked as a lab demonstrator for the Biomedical students. I helped students to understand practical methods and analysing data and presentation.
