I consistently receive 5* ratings from parents and my students received a 100% pass rate in 2017 for Maths and English (GCSEs and A Levels). I have six years` experience in education and this is my fourth year as a full-time private tutor.

I have experience of AQA, Eduqas and Edexcel specifications in English Language and Literature as well as every major specification for Maths (both at Foundation and Higher level). I`m familiar with all set texts for Literature and have worked with students on all major GCSE poetry anthologies. I have an MA in Modern Literature and am currently completing my PhD in Creative writing through part time study at the University of Leicester.

All my students achieve excellent results in Maths and English, whether it`s trying to secure that grade 4 or aiming for that 9. 2017 saw another group of excellent results at GCSE and A Level, as well as some great progress from my KS3 students.

I am a full-time private tutor so I can devote my time to professional one-to-one tuition. I can help with exam preparation, revision plans and time-management. I am always available via email for any extra advice.

I have a friendly and relaxed manner but ensure all my students get the most out of my sessions, and my students` results speak for themselves.

I can provide lessons in English Language and Literature, as well as Maths and English as a Foreign Language.

I am a practicing poet and singer-songwriter, and also offer creative writing classes as well as guitar lessons.

Outside of education, I enjoy travelling and I run a monthly spoken word night in Kettering that is now in its fourth year. I also stood for parliament in my hometown in the 2015 and 2017 General Elections.
