I am friendly, patient and kind and have always had good relationships with pupils - helping them to reach their full potential. Confidence building is key and I like to make lessons fun. The first two lessons will be a time for assessment and getting to know your child. This will enable me to fix a starting point from which to concentrate on specific areas.

My experience is wide and varied and I would be happy to help your child with their reading, writing or mathematics. I have my own resources and will find the right tools to improve abilities of all levels. I would be happy to help children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 to increase their confidence in English and Maths and improve their levels of ability.

Availability: After school term time and possible Saturday mornings and holidays.

I am happy to visit your home or, alternatively, we can work from my own home. Some children find it easier to concentrate in a different environment.

Experience: I am a qualified primary school teacher with a wealth of experience in KS2. I spent 11 years teaching Y6, so am fully conversant with SATs preparation and happy to help with entrance exam preparation. I have been successful in helping children achieve the highest level they possibly can.
