I have a degree in maths, a masters degree in psychology and more than four years` teaching experience, via work in schools, colleges and private tuition.

I plan my tutoring sessions carefully in response to the student`s individual needs, often drawing on ideas and skills I have gained from classroom experience.

I am an excellent communicator. Perceptive and responsive, I know how to really make things clear.

Experience: *One year`s experience in a secondary school as a Maths Teaching Assistant, running GCSE maths revision sessions and providing classroom, 1-1, and small group support to 11-16 year olds.

*One year`s experience in a sixth form college as a Learning Support Assistant, providing 1-1 academic and pastoral support to A Level students with learning difficulties.

*Four year`s experience as a private tutor. Over the years I have helped 12 students with maths and science, from primary school to GCSE and A Level.

*One year`s experience as a Learning Support Assistant in an adult education service, supporting adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. This included running maths workshops for Level 1 and 2 functional skills maths qualifications.
