Hi! I am a Cambridge University graduate working as a full-time Maths tutor. I have a sound academic record (four A*`s at A-Level, First Class Chemical Engineering Degree) which has allowed me to tutor students aiming for a top A* (or grade 9) in Maths. That said, I have taught just as many students aiming for lower grades. In any case, the majority of my past students have made great improvements. I like to teach, and I like Maths, and for these reasons I am quite an enthusiastic tutor!

I have been tutoring for three years and in this time I have helped many students to achieve their target grades or beyond. As a tutor, I offer:
- A very sound understanding of Maths: A* in both Maths and Further Maths at A-Level, averaging a mark of 99% across the Maths A-Level; First Class degree from the University of Cambridge (in Chemical Engineering, a Maths-heavy course).
- Enthusiastic teaching: I enjoy Maths and I enjoy teaching. This enthusiasm shows in my lessons and students do tend to look forward to my lessons!
- Lessons tailored to the specific exam board and to the new Maths syllabus: I am familiar with the new Maths syllabus of each of the different exam boards and will bring books to work with which are specific to the new syllabus.
- Well-organised lessons: I structure my lessons to allow time for teaching, working through examples, and addressing specific issues. That said, the exact format of my lessons will always change to meet the needs of the student.

Experience: I have been tutoring for three years in and around the South London area and in this time I have taught approximately 300 hours. I am now working full-time as a tutor.

- Who have I taught: I have taught both Secondary School/Sixth Form students and mature students. I have taught students of all abilities, and have also worked with students with disabilities such as ADD.
- What subjects have I taught: I have most often taught A-Level and GCSE Maths though I have also taught KS3 Maths, Pure Maths, Further Maths, Mechanics and Statistics at A-Level. I am familiar with all of the national exam boards.
- What aspects of the subject have I helped students with: I have helped students with everything from understanding the course, and any assignments/homework they may have, to revising and preparing for exams.
