Experience: I am in the final year of my PhD at the University of Sussex, where I teach Media and Cultural Studies; my students tell me my teaching is extremely accessible, and it is something I am very passionate about!

Qualifications:
My PhD uses film to explore constructions of female gender in Palestine, and is supported by a studentship from the Arts and Humanities research council. My BA and MA are both in Photography, and I have professional experience as a curator in galleries such as P21 Gallery London, and Beirut Art Center. I have also produced a podcast, Queer Narratives Beirut, and I edit queer Arab photojournal, Cold Cuts.

Experience:
In addition, I have significant experience working with students from the UK and abroad on their personal statements for University and scholarship applications at all levels, and have even helped a student gain a $200,000 scholarship.
I teach English as a foreign language as well as academic writing skills, and I am from an arts background with extensive experience in arts coursework so I can help improve and elevate your work before you submit.
Finally, I am both significantly dyslexic and dyspraxic, and consequently have extensive experience in diverse study skills; I can tailor my teaching to support your personal learning style!
