I have always been a big sportsman and with regards to chess this led me to being one of the top young British players, my competition coming in the form of David Howells. I won individual and team competitions on a national level, captained Somerset, my college, had a chess scholarship to Berkshire, and recently beat a grandmaster!

I previously coached at some of London`s top schools and universities.

I currently coach elite level sport in France
