I graduated from my undergraduate and Masters at the University of Oxford in 2015. I am also studying for a PhD in medical physics at King`s College London and Imperial College London. I find teaching really enjoyable, especially when my students begin to see progress.
I can tailor sessions for general understanding, work on particular topics, focussed exam preparation or University/school applications as needed. I also have experience with the Oxford University PAT exam. I am passionate about science and maths and ensure that the sessions are relaxed and enjoyable for the students whilst still being highly structured. Whether work on the core topics is required or maybe just a confidence boost, I aim to help students achieve the grades they need.
I also provide summer tuition sessions to prepare for the next academic year without the pressure of existing workload from school! Please just get in touch.

Jemma tutored our daughter at A`Level Physics for most of Year 13 to fill in the gaps caused by a less than thorough Physics teacher at her grammar school. We decided to get extra tuition as our daughter was trying for Oxbridge and was aiming for high grades in all her subjects. Seeing as the school was not supporting her in Physics, this is the subject she decided to have a tutor for. Jemma was extremely reliable and tailored the sessions to our daughter`s needs. Given Jemma`s qualifications she was able to pitch the sessions at the high level. Our daughter enjoyed the sessions as Jemma related well to her and we believe Jemma helped our daughter to attain the grade she needed for Oxbridge. Thanks Jemma for all your help.

Jemmais a great tutor and a great addition to my daughter`s GCSE year. The 1-1 focus has been so useful in her understanding where her weaknesses are and working on them. Jemma brings a range of techniques to help her. She is reliable and friendly but is clear about her expectations of him. Would recommend.

Jemma tutored me in physics for two exams I was retaking and was excellent. She was really helpful and very good at explaining what I didn`t understand. I was able to get the grade I needed for my university offer.
