Hugo

Hugo is an experienced and dedicated cellist who is well qualified to teach cello to students who are beginners to those studying for grade 8. Hugo has a huge amount of enthusiasm for teaching and is keen to share his passion for the cello with those who want to learn.
Hugo studied cello at Chethams school of music, and is a Royal College of Music scholar, supported by the Audrey Piggy award and the Frederick and Phyllis Treby Scholarship.
Hugo has performed many solo, chamber music, and orchestral concerts at the Bridgewater Hall, Dukes Hall, Milton Court, the RNCM , and the Royal Festival Hall.
Hugo has Studied cello with Nicholas Jones and Thomas Carrol.

Availability: Available Weekends, and most weekdays.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have taught chamber music to children aged 8-16 in groups. I have also had masterclasses with great cellists such as Francis Gouten, Guy Johnson, and Robert Cohen, from which i have gained a large amount of experience into the different methods of teaching.
