I graduated from the University of Oxford with a Distinction in my Master`s in Classical Languages and Literature (2022) and a First-Class Bachelor`s in Classics (2021). I am now starting a DPhil at the University of Oxford, which is fully funded by Christ Church. I have been tutoring Latin, Classical Greek and English for over six years, and am passionate about helping students to achieve their goals in exams and university applications. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, crafts, gardening and volunteering at the Ashmolean.

Experience: I have expertise in supporting students with Personal Statements for all university courses, and mentoring applicants for a range of related Humanities fields as well as Classics, such as Philosophy, English Literature and Ancient History. I am also experienced in offering super-curricular learning, admissions test support (e.g. CAT, PAA, ELAT) and Oxbridge interview practice.

As well as experiencing the Oxford application process myself at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, I have a wide range of tutoring and mentoring experiences:
- Private tutoring since 2017 in English, Latin, Greek and university applications; have worked with students in-person and online from all over the world
- Full-time employee at Oxford and Cambridge Tutors for a year, during which I tutored a further 200 hours and gained specialist expertise in supporting students with Personal Statements, as well as conducting several admissions events and webinars; gave advice in The Telegraph on the Oxbridge application process
- Volunteer mentoring through Access Oxbridge, and teaching through the charity Schools Plus at a local school in Oxford; also contributed to compiling resources and writing a free English textbook during lockdowns

Tutoring Approach
My tutoring sessions involve working through targeted exercises and providing pupils with clear explanatory notes and resources tailored to their areas of concern; this personalised approach has helped my past tutees to improve their analytical skills, grasp difficult points, and gain confidence.
I begin by identifying areas my pupils are struggling with and hoping to perfect. Sessions tend to focus on improving the student`s confidence in a specific area, and combine thorough explanation and discussion of new content followed by practice and evaluation. If they would like further practice, I can also set and mark homework.
