I am a fully qualified primary teacher who loves working with all ages of children. Currently, I am working as a supply teacher in an outstanding primary school in Ilford, where I teach all year groups from nursery to year 6. I have been at this school for 3 years and have helped many children reach and exceed their potential in all subjects, including Maths, English and Reading.

With 7 years of teaching experience in primary education, I have exceptional knowledge of the National Curriculum and will use it as a basis to assess and teach students. I believe it is important to give feedback on a student’s progress and therefore will inform parents/carers on a regular basis.

I am available to teach in person (one-to-one) or online. I understand the importance of having face to face lessons for the student; it gives them a sense of comfort and ease, as well as the confidence to ask questions. However, I also understand that `in person` teaching is not convenient for everyone. I have experience in online teaching, using applications such as google classroom and Zoom to teach lessons, particularly, to a Year 5 class.

Getting to know the student, building a rapport and approaching a lesson with patience, understanding and engagement are vital for a successful lesson, and I aim to achieve this with every student I work with.

Wednesday - Friday 5PM-7PM
Sunday 11.30 AM - 3PM

Experience: I have experience working with all primary year groups, however more recently I have been working closely with year 3 and year 5 classes. Being a supply teacher for 4 years I have worked in many school around Romford, Ilford, Goodmayes, Chadwell Heath and Newham, where I have gained valuable skills working with children with different learning needs.
