A professional tutor with recent experience as Teacher of Economics. An Economics graduate, I completed a Masters degree course at the University of Cambridge, and have worked as a professional economist. I have over 2,000 hours of tutoring experience (face-to-face and online), and have tutored students from over 30 schools in the Essex, Herts and London areas.
I am familiar with the AQA, Edexcel and OCR `A` level economics courses, and provide a friendly, structured and results-oriented approach: covering microeconomic and macroeconomics theories and concepts, as well as examination technique, data response questions and essay writing.
I have a proven track record in helping students improve their predicted grades, and can also provide guidance to help them write effective personal statements for university applications.

I am very pleased that I found Clive through this website. Excellent tutor, fully prepared for tutoring sessions, gives my son work to get on with until next lesson. Reliable and honest tutor. My son has no idea where to start for revision but now with Clive`s guidance has been able to plan ahead. My son is very happy with his tutoring and his teaching has helped him so far. Excellent tutor, highly recommend. Although my daughter has not taken her exam yet, she has clearly benefited from her lessons with Clive so far. She has huge respect for his knowledge and the way he delivers his lessons and challenges her. Clive always sets homework, provides materials/resources and is very attuned to my daughters weaknesses and gaps in knowledge, which he readily addresses, alongside helping her prepare for upcoming tests or work expected by school. As a parent, I immediately felt confidence in Clive when I first spoke with him. He is happy to provide frank progress reports and it is clear that he genuinely cares about all his students success.
