Clare

I am an experienced tutor and qualified teacher with a degree in mathematics from the University of Cambridge. I have two and a half years` experience of teaching mathematics and further maths A levels at academic sixth forms, and my teaching has been rated as `Outstanding` by Ofsted.

In my teaching, I focus on building understanding, confidence and resilience as well as fluency. As a tutor, I particularly enjoy the opportunity to tailor my questioning and coaching to the student`s level and needs.

Experience: I have taught mathematics and further mathematics A levels full time for two years, and part time for a further year. This has also involved helping students with university entrance exams such as STEP and AEA.

As part of my teacher training, I spent most of a year teaching years 7 to 11 at London schools.

I have tutored numerous students for GCSE, AS/A level and IB maths. I also worked for three months as a teaching assistant in mathematics.
