I am passionate about education and learning and have been consistently commended for my high standards of teaching and curriculum development.
Within all my roles, I have been interested in the progress of the individual and how this may be achieved through effective target setting, adequate support and a variety of learning styles. I have planned and developed resources in line with the National, Revised South African and Adult curriculum. I have most recently been a Deputy Head of a central London school and have previously been a Deputy Headteacher, Head of Lower Primary and Head of Maths/English. Thus, I have a solid foundation in the Primary curriculum and the progression within it.
Having worked as a Learning Support Teacher, I have an excellent understanding of supporting children with a variety of Special Educational Needs.
I have extensive experience in teaching English as a foreign language from beginner to adult, with emphasis on introducing British culture and colloquial use of the language - to any age group.
Additionally, I am available to tutor adults for the Literacy and Numeracy skills tests.
Availability: I am available from 5pm Monday to Friday.

Experience: As a qualified teacher of over fifteen years, I have a solid foundation of teaching and learning concepts. I have worked as a class teacher for positions from EYFS to Year 6, Head of English and Maths and as a Learning Support Teacher (specialising in interventions and a variety of Special Educational Needs). I have been responsible for developing curricular and assessments as well as Common Entrance, 11+ and SATs preparations. I have worked within both the independent and maintained sectors.
