I am an experienced and fully-qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children and young people. I am able to offer one-to-one and small group tutoring in Literacy and Numeracy to pupils in Key Stages One, Two and Three, as well as to primary and secondary-age pupils with Special Needs and Additional Learning Needs. I have extensive experience in supporting secondary-age pupils with Special Educational Needs and in helping primary-age pupils to achieve their targets in reading, writing and numeracy.
I am also able to offer private tuition for pupils studying History at GCSE and A Level, as I have extensive subject knowledge and hold a First Class Honours degree and a Masters Degree in this field. I am also willing to undertake proof-reading of dissertations and other academic works.

Experience: I hold a CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and I have been employed as a support worker at a local primary school for the past two years, where I work with specific pupils to help them achieve their targets in with reading, writing and numeracy. I also have experience as a Special Needs Support Assistant in a secondary school, where I supported pupils wth a wide range of educational, social and emotional needs to achieve the best in their learning.
