I am a graduate of Durham University with a Master`s Degree in Physics and Astronomy, willing to tutor Maths and Science at any level from Primary to A-level. I have been a tutor for six years now, and in that time I have helped students secure academic scholarships and exceed their predicted grades.

I was a student at St Olave`s Grammar School in Orpington, where I was elected as Vice Captain of School for the 2015/16 academic year. As a Physics student I have a thorough understanding of the maths and science courses at GCSE and A-level and achieved 11 A*s at GCSE as well as 2 A*s in Maths and Physics and 2 As in Chemistry and Further Maths at A-level. This history of exam success means I understand how best to deal with obtuse mark schemes and assessment criteria. In addition to tutoring I have also been a content creator for the revision site `Physics and Maths Tutor` for whom I wrote the A-Level Physics revision guide and several class workbooks. I know the subjects well and I know how they`re assessed in the exams.

I love to teach and discuss ideas with people, and help them to understand complex topics in a manner that will enrich their appreciation for the subject as well as help them to pass exams.
When teaching I will first want to assess the student`s current understanding and ability, and set regular targets to document the student`s progress as we work towards understanding topics with which the student has difficulties.

Availability: I am available at flexible times in the coming months. I can tutor online if preferred but I typically prefer and enjoy in person teaching.

I have been a content creator for a well known revision site for whom I wrote the entire Physics A level revision guides and several workbooks. This has given me a great knowledge around how the material is examined and what students need to be able to do.

I have a masters degree in Physics myself, and great school grades in maths and science subjects. So I know these subjects very well and can share that knowledge with students.
