My son in Year 6 needs help with English so he is well prepared for secondary school next year. He has a July birthday, which gives him a natural disadvantage. Although he loves reading he struggles with sentence construction, structuring his ideas and writing clearly. He also needs help with preparing for SATS in comprehension and writing.

He enjoys maths, but it would be interesting to gauge his level and address any deficiencies.

I would like him to get these issues out of the way, so that when he starts Fortismere next year he can `hit the ground running`, and be able then to concentrate on learning his subjects.

Currently we have a tutor who comes to the flat at 4.30pm on Thursdays, but she is leaving the country at the end of September. If we could continue with this arrangement that would be ideal.Thanks a lot.

Availability: Ideally Thursdays after school at 4.30pm. We would prefer it if the tutor could come to our flat. We live only 4 minutes from East Finchley tube.
