Information about Rebecca
I love Biology and believe that anyone can enjoy learning more about life on Earth. I find that students thrive with one-to-one tuition because it is tailored for their needs - we can make sure that they understand the subject content as well as working on any weakness in exam technique. A huge part of succeeding in Biology is having the confidence to interpret and answer the questions correctly. This comes more quickly with guidance from someone who has seen a lot of exam papers!
Availability: I have availability, particularly during the day and early evenings.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been working as a qualified teacher since 2009. I studied Ecology at Durham University and an MSc in Conservation Ecology before working in marine research in Madagascar. I am particularly interested in genetic modification techniques and sharks.

Rebecca has given my daughter renewed confidence in her abilities in Biology. She is very thorough in her teaching methods. She makes each session interesting. My daughter really enjoys being taught by Rebecca and I am so pleased to see how she is being so encouraged in a subject she was struggling with.
