Hello! ¡Hola! Privyet!

My name is Tabitha and I`m currently studying my MA in Spanish Translation, Interpreting and Subtitling at the University of Essex. Whilst I am studying, I am available during the evenings and at weekends to tutor both Spanish and Russian.

I graduated last year with a first-class degree in Spanish and Russian from the University of Bristol. During my degree, I spent 6 months living in Salamanca, Spain where I worked as an English teacher at the university and then 6 months living in Russia where I studied at Tomsk State University. My degree, combined with my year abroad experiences have enabled me to develop my language and teaching skills enormously.

I am currently based in St Osyth, but often in Colchester and Ipswich and so happy to travel within the vicinity.

I am passionate about languages and think that they are incredibly valuable and hope to share that passion with my tutees. I am very well organised and dedicated individual who can provide flexible tutoring to cater to varying learning needs.

I currently do not offer online tuition as I unfortunately do not have sufficient internet connection. However, as long as you the tutee are comfortable to, I am happy to travel to you or you travel to me, or meet somewhere in the middle or go for a coffee! We can maintain social distances and wear face coverings where preferred.

Experience: - Currently studying MA in Spanish Translation, Interpreting and Subtitling
- First class degree in Spanish and Russian
- A levels in Spanish (A) and Russian (A*)
- GCSEs in Spanish (A*) and Russian (A*)

- 6 months teaching experience as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language at the University of Salamanca in Spain
- 6 months spent living in Russia
- 2 years part time volunteering at primary schools
