Information about Lisa

I am inspirational teacher who is the Head of Maths at a Secondary School. I teach all levels, KS3, GCSE Foundation and GCSE Higher. I am also qualified to teach KS2 at Primary Level.

I have a passion for teaching Mathematics and understand there are many barriers to learning Mathematics and many children find it a struggle. I like to use lots of practical ideas and different ways to try and break down these barriers.

I currently teach a range of abilities and have lots of available resources to suit.

Availability: I am free after school. The best time is a Wednesday after school 5:15-6:15pm.

After School

Willing to travel: 4 miles

Experience: I trained in both Primary and Secondary School so have taught between KS2 and KS4. I have been teaching for eight years as a Qualified Teacher and am now the Head of a Maths Departmenr.

I have tutored Mathematics to small groups in a Primary School for a year to prepare the pupils for their SATs. Groups and indivividuals in preparation for their GCSE.

I have a good understanding of the curriculum and experience with helping students gain their best possible result.
