Information about Swetha
I`m currently a Software Engineer working in the city. I graduated from an MSc in Computer Science from Birmingham University (UK) and before that, I trained as a bio-chemist, studying the (US).
I have a wide range of experience in teaching, from working as tutor during my undergraduate studies to teaching fellow students during my Master program.
I believe there is always a way to understand a concept, no matter how difficult! It is about finding the right approach for each particular student and I am committed to helping students achieve a high level of understanding and ease with the subject at hand through using the best fit for their learning style.
Moreover, confidence in tackling complex ideas is important as it allows students to push themselves and ask the right questions, rather than taking a step back thinking, "I won`t be able to understand this". I work to instil belief and confidence in a student`s ability through positive reinforcement and constructive, helpful advice.
Availability: I`m available to tutor weekday evenings and sometimes weekends.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have tutored students (KS3 and Primary) in Maths and Science. Apart from that,
I have also tutored classmates in Chemistry, Biology and Computing (at Batchelor`s and Masters level)
