I have been tutoring for many years and am very committed in assisting my students to achieve the best of their ability.

I am able to provide help in 11+ exams, homework and exam technique. Specifically I am experienced in teaching verbal/ non-verbal reasoning, comprehension, Maths and English.

I am able to build my students confidence, as well as motivate and guide them in structuring their educational skills. I have a friendly nature, this I find encourages both enjoyable learning for young children and older students, along with progression.

I have tutored my own two daughters, one entered Bromley High School and the other attended Newstead Wood School for their secondary education and sixth form. Both had very pleasing results, my youngest daughter having recently achieved 9 A stars and 2 A`s.

Availability: I am available weekends - Saturdays and Sundays.
Weekdays - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Experience: I am currently tutoring a number of children in verbal, non-verbal reasoning, numeracy, comprehension, grammar skills and Maths and English.

My tutees are aged between 7 and 12. Additionally, I have experienced tutoring children with Dyslexia, targeting specific learning difficulties in areas of strong visualisation skills, Comprehension/Grammar and essentially problem-solving skills in numeracy.

I have a full range of skills, these including excellent organisation, communication and management.

In particular when tutoring, I draft and provide homework linked to Maths and English topics. I often use an A4 sized whiteboard, as I find that if a student is struggling, that they benefit from this type of visual learning.
