Experience: I have just moved back to the UK, having lived in Nuremberg for the past six years. In that time I socialised, worked and studied as a German, graduating recently with a first class BA honours (equivalent) in philosophy and German (language and literature) from the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität in Erlangen. I speak German accent-free, and have a genuinely more extensive knowledge of the language, in theory and in practice, than of my mother tongue. I bring to the table not only the fairly unique advantage of having reached such a high standard via the standard route of GCSE and A-Level, but also a genuine passion for all that the German language has to offer - its beauty, cultural influence, history, literature... I could go on, but that would be much more worthwhile in person.
