I teach from beginner to extensive levels of language proficiency.
In addition, I have over 15 years of extensive experience in interpreting and translation from English into Russian to corporate clients in the UK. My main areas of expertise in translation are: Legal, Economics, Finance, Engineering and Medical. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a member of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting.
I have a DBS certificate.

Availability: My teaching hours are 10am - 18pm. I am flexible to fit into the student`s busy schedule.

Experience: I am an enthusiastic and personable tutor specialising in languages and writing skills. I’ve been teaching for more than 12 years.

My teaching experience includes:
• one-to-one teaching Russian
• preparation of students for GCSE, A-level and IB exams
• teaching Russian to corporate clients from beginner’s to advanced levels, extensive level (areas of teaching: Banking, Finance, Insurance, Law and Medicine)
• assistance with literature essays
• academic proofreading
• designing course programs
• preparation of students for a DPSI exam

I have developed my own teaching skills and believe both in my own effectiveness and in a student`s potential to learn, and act to foster the learning they expect.

My approach to tutoring is focused on achieving the stated goals for the student.
I make goals high but attainable.

I`m a firm believer in getting the best out of all my students and believe that all my students are capable of achieving the highest grades.

I am someone who is considered to be ‘fun.’ I believe that we are way more productive when we are working with people with which we enjoy spending time. When the situation gets tough with a student, a touch of humour can save the day.
