My name is Ana, I am from Madrid, Spain and I have lived in the UK since 2009. I have been teaching in secondary schools since 2010 and I am looking forward to continue my career offering private tuition too, which I did at the very start of my teaching career!

Experience: I am a qualified Spanish teacher with over 10 years of experience. In 2010 I completed a MA in teaching Spanish as a second Language and then completed a PGCE course to teach Spanish and French in British schools. Since 2011, I have been teaching in secondary schools. In 2012 I became Head of Spanish in a London school and in 2018 I became Deputy Head of Languages at a school in Surrey. During this time i have thoroughly enjoyed teaching students at different levels and training student teachers to join this profession. My qualifications and previous experience allow me to teach adults and teenagers. I can focus on different exams or skills and I prepare all my lessons carefully taking into account my students` needs and wishes.
