I originally booked a hour lesson for the 15th of December for my daughter. The lesson went okay but was advised by Maria after lesson that she will not be available for nearly 3 weeks. Although disappointed as I wanted consistent lessons for my daughter I understood due to the holiday season. I booked a 2 hours lesson for January 5th 2020 which Maria agreed to only for her to cancel 3 and a half hours before the start of lesson with no reason at all just a apology which I was very upset about as I have had a number of tutors in the last decade and none have been so unprofessional. I complained to Tutor Hunt as I feel cheated as I paid £24.99 to purchase details for a unreliable person but have had no response as of yet from Tutor Hunt. After having no communication whatsoever with Maria I decided to hire another tutor and again pay another fee only for Maria to turn up at my door on the 12th of January unannounced with no prior agreement when I was not at home for a lesson! When I informed her that I was not at home as we have not agreed to any future lessons she sent me a disrespectful text message saying that she does not want to work for me anymore as I am not consistent and she only cancelled last week as she was preparing for a exam, which if it`s true as I pointed out she could easily have arranged another date as she would know about her need to study beforehand so would not need to cancel a couple of hours before the lesson. I could not believe the cheek as it is me who paid the fee to purchase her details only for her to be unreliable and not only having to pay again for another tutors details but most importantly wasting valuable time which my daughter has lost studying. I was apprehensive hiring Maria due to her only being 19 years of age and mentioned this to Maria but she vigorously assured me that she was mature and reliable which obviously is not the case.

My kids have had 2 sessions with more to follow in the New year..
They say it has helped a lot and Maria is a great teacher..explains things very well..
