When tutoring, one of the most important things I aim to do is bring a sense of enthusiasm to every session - I think learning can and should be fun! My teaching style focuses on helping students develop a solid knowledge base, and breaking complex concepts into manageable chunks to build confidence and understanding. As someone with a dyslexic younger sibling, and experience working with students for whom English is not a first language, I also recognise that every student is different, and always tailor my tutoring style to the individual needs of each student.

Experience: I have a variety of both classroom and individual teaching experience. Since 2015, I have worked as a freelance private science and mathematics tutor both at GCSE level, and A level.

This summer I also had the opportunity to teach in China as part of the Hong Kong University CSE program. Here I had the chance to work with larger groups of children, and was responsible for teaching a range of topics to students between the ages of 13 and 17.
