Russian and Italian languages: all ages/all levels/GCSE Russian/Italian and A level Russian/Italian/university exams preparation. I`m an experienced language teacher with a BA (hons) degree in MFL teaching. I have been always passionate about foreign languages and cultures, and I am eager to infuse my students with this passion, help them progress and achieve their objectives. I enjoy teaching to learners of all levels and age groups, attaining whichever goals they pursue: exam preparation, travel, business, communication, culture, literature etc. Along with language learning, my students expand their cultural awareness by discovering habits, traditions, artistic and cultural heritage of the countries where the languages I teach are spoken.

Experience: I have been teaching MFL for over 15 years to both children and adults, of all ages and levels of language competence, both on a group and one-to-one basis. I have been preparing for GCSE, A level and University exams (Russian and Italian) for over 6 years now. I love one-to-one tuition as it enables me to provide personal guidance to each student.

As for exam preparation, I have extensive experience in preparing students for such exams as GCSE/A levels/University exams (Italian and Russian), TRKI/TORFL (Russian) etc. I focus on keeping my students motivated, optimistic and persevering at the same time. I am familiar with the latest exam specifications and keep myself updated. I love to see my students progress and succeed. Exam preparation is definitely challenging, but rewarding in the end. In the recent years all of my students made me proud of their achievements, passing their exams with the highest grades.

Approach

Generally speaking, I am enthusiastic, student-focused and flexible. I apply a task-oriented communicative approach, keeping myself abreast of all the modern language teaching techniques. I teach grammar and vocabulary in context, as students learn easier through real live communication. Everyone is different, so my lessons are specifically tailored and purposefully planned according to my students’ personalities and their needs/objectives/personal interests. I focus on the Russian/Italian actuality and culture during my lessons. Being aware of the importance of meeting my students’ requirements, we usually have an informal conversation prior to starting our lessons. You are very welcome!
