I am a qualified teacher and teach part-time in a primary school in Dorking. I also have a lot experience tutoring children in schools and privately (including online tutoring using video software). My specialism is KS2 Maths and English, as well as KS3 Maths. Although I enjoy teaching children within a whole class environment, I also find working with students on a 1-to-1 basis very rewarding. I find my teaching experiences make me a better tutor and my tutoring experiences make me a better teacher! When tutoring, I work with students at their pace using a variety of hands-on resources to support their learning. I enjoy the challenge of finding different ways to help and encourage them to make progress in areas they may find difficult or confusing and to develop their understanding. It’s so lovely to see my students grow in confidence and enthusiasm.

Availability: Currently I am available to carry out online tutoring from 10am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
