I moved to the Philippines for 11 years with my Filipina wife and our two young children, to help my wife to become qualified as a nurse, but we came back to the UK in 2018, and decided to live in Preston, where all my family can continue with their education at Longridge High School, Cardinal Newman 6th Form college, University of Central Lancashire and Royal Preston Hospital, while I return to walking, cycling, camping, watching some football and re-starting private tuition, which I still enjoy so much. It says "at home" here, or maximum travel distance, and ONLINE is not offered. Now, I can ONLY do online.

Availability: I only tutor online now. Any time or day is OK for me. One-to-one lessons are very effective, but it is better to find a partner, to make lessons more fun and share costs and maybe transport. I work hard throughout every lesson, then give notes and work-sheet homeworks for chemistry, but I use the best CGP books for other subjects.. First lesson is free, so that you and I can decide what is the best approach. I do a great job!

Experience: After my Double Honours degree in Chemistry and Biology at Keele, I did a PhD at Liverpool University, and went straight into teaching, as Head of Science at a good independent school, where I built up the Science Department for 25 years, with most of my students getting top grades, and most of the 6th form were doing chemistry and other sciences. In the Philippines, I was voted "Best Professor in the whole University" and my classes always got the best grades. I also help children with Asperger`s Syndrome or Dyslexia.
