Phill is helping my son with learning disabilities with his maths qualification. He is really engaging, teaching my son with good humour, patience and creativity. As a qualified, practicing secondary school teacher, he knows his way around the curriculum. He is very reliable and nice to have around! I would strongly recommend Phill as a private maths tutor.

Phill is a very engaging, structured and hands-on tutor. He prepared a study plan for our son in preparation for his 11+ exams. He sets him homework every week which he then marks while our son works on other topics during the session. He makes lessons fun, for example, he stepped outside with our son during one lesson to look at car tires when they covered a geometry topic. He provides detailed updates after each session.

Phil worked really hard with my son who probably wasn`t the most enthusiastic student. Phil was extremely patient and did everything possible to motivate him. I would highly recommend Phil. He was punctual, professional and flexible. He demonstrated a sound knowledge of the GCSE syllabus and provided lots of additional resources to assist my son.

Phill is a great Maths tutor has helped my son immensely.
Phill went out of his way in helping. He brought works sheets to ascertain where my son may need help as well as my son emailing him the topics he needed help with before his first lesson. I would definitely recommend Phill.
