Learning approach.
Personality.
Isa is a patient and enthusiastic teacher, with a love of science and medicine that reflects in his work. As a young tutor, he can offer a modern, student-centred insight into the exact techniques needed to maximise exam performance and understanding of a subject. Despite his heavily science-based background, Isa prides himself on conveying concepts and information in an accessible and informal manner, being a firm believer that a comfortable and friendly learning approach is always best.

Learning approach.
Throughout Isa`s progression through A level, University and professional employment as a clinical researcher, increasing emphasis has been placed on him to retain and understand increasingly complex principles and subjects.
Through necessity and research into maximising learning, he has developed a current, integrated teaching approach using written notes, flashcards, video and mobile apps that provide the most contemporary and comprehensive approach to learning possible. This research and understanding provides the backbone of Isa’s approach, which he applies throughout his teaching in accessible ways that can be easily translated to school and exams.
Having read extensively into research literature surrounding the science of learning (research papers cited below), Isa`s teaching approach utilises active recall, practice testing and spaced repetition over a variety of learning resources readily accessible and frequently used by students, including flashcards, mobile apps and written notes and quizzes.

This approach to learning is tailored around past papers and mark schemes of current A-level and GCSE syllabuses, providing a clear goal of not only understanding the subject, but also the perfect approach needed to maximise exam performance.

By taking a scientific, research-based approach to maximising learning, Isa is able to offer both comprehensive understanding of the subject and an improved approach to learning that will last a lifetime.
