Hey, I`m a current Cambridge student studying Human, Social and Political Sciences (HSPS) in between 2nd and 3rd year. At present I`m taking a year out of uni for health reasons and I`d love to do some tutoring during the time.
Academically I scored 10 A*s at GCSE, 1A in AS level Chemistry, A* in EPQ and A*s in Biology and English Lit and an A in Latin at A level at school. In my first two years of HSPS at Cambridge I have comfortably scored a 2:1 in each set of exams.
Having completed A levels and GCSEs to a high standard not too long ago I have a good grasp of what is required to excel in them, and furthermore my degree at Cambridge has equipped me with the knowledge to teach Sociology and Politics proficiently as well. I am aware that the A level syllabus has changed as of this year across the board, and I am currently familiarising myself with the new material.
In addition I have helped a great number of students with university advice (choices, interview practice and personal statements) both at my school and when working abroad in Hong Kong and as such I am happy to give UCAS related advice and help. Indeed of the three boys at my school I gave interview advice to at the start of last year - two secured entry to Cambridge.
(I am in the process of getting a CRB check)
