Drawing Classes

My name is Melitta and I am a practising artist and art tutor with more than 15 years of experience. I received a Master of Fine Art from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2004.

I am working in painting now, however my focus as a teacher is drawing (starting with still life, portrait etc.), because I see observational drawing as a foundation for any further development in visual art.

I am always trying to make the lessons person-centered, tailoring them to the students needs. I am caring, patient and passionate about supporting people of all ages to build confidence in their creative process and personal interests.

Availability: I am usually available on weekdays, but has to be discussed further because my other commitments.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I had the opportunity to educate diverse kind of young people both in art school and as private students. In 2016 I could take part in family workshops at Camden Arts Center as an assistant and I could design and run art workshops there later as a volunteer.
