I am an experienced teacher of A level Psychology, having led the Social Sciences faculty at a large comprehensive in Oxford - Ofsted outstanding. Over the years I have taught students of all abilities and have helped them realise their potential in their exam results, in order for them to go on to the next stages of their lives - whether it is university or work.
Private tuition is not just about understanding your subject, but also about helping students interpret exam questions and helping them develop good exam skills in order to be successful.
As an experienced teacher and examiner I can help students fully prepare for their exams, help them develop confidence in their own abilities and achieve exam success.
As an experienced 6th form teacher, tutor and Head of Year I can offer help and advice about UCAS application and personal statement writing.
I also offer study skills training across all subjects and age ranges - throughout my time in teaching I have noticed that many students lack appropriate study skills to make their time studying really effective. These are skills that can be taught and are desperately needed in order for students to become really impressive independent learners and be successful at all levels.
