I am an Academic and Finance Professional, whose real passion is working with children helping them to enjoy Maths and English. Also helping ESL students to learn English. I aim to help children achieve their full potential by encouraging learning through, practice, discussion and fun activities. I also help with homework and re-teach weak subject areas. I am also available in the daytime for home schooled children. My approach is calm and friendly and children quickly bond with me. I currently work with KS1 and KS2 children and have been doing so for nearly three years. I have worked in the Education sector in East London since 2007 and worked with Newly Qualified Teachers, coordinating their first full teaching year (Induction) training. I am therefore very familiar with the National curriculum and can recommend resources for families to use and work along with parents in order to get the best outcome. I am a native English speaker.

For ESL adult students (English for speakers of other languages), I teach via an online platform one-to-one or in person. I also offer Business English for those requiring a higher level of English to improve their job prospects. I am a native English speaker and am flexible with early mornings and later at nights.

Experience: I have been tutoring primary KS1 and 2 in Maths and English for the last three years. During this time I have been focusing on preparing children for KS2 Sats. I have also been Teaching English to Speakers of other languages online since 2018. I was hosting and tutoring international students in the English language in person. I have worked in Education in the Hackney Learning Trust from 2007 to 2010 and so am familiar with the school curriculum from many different perspectives
