Our history is what defines us. In my case, my love of history has defined a large part of my life. Another thing the study of the humanities has taught me, that subjects should be made to be engaging, relevant, and inspire enthusiasm. There is so much to learn about the world from the fascinating to the almost comical. My course at UCL in Russian and History has armed with a deep knowledge of whole areas of the humanities, literary textual analysis, and culture. My aim is to get my students to think critically about topics laid before them and to analyse sources with proper contextual knowledge.

Experience: I have some previous informal tutoring experience including tutoring both my younger brothers particularly in History and English. My role at Sixth Form also meant looking after and helping young students in my tutor group if they were struggling with work. I was also part of a mentor group at university.
