Alanna (Tutor in Stratford-upon-avon)

Hi! I’m Alanna and I am a qualified Primary Teacher based in Stratford-upon-Avon. I am available to help and support your child through their primary education, from early reading, writing or maths through to preparation for SATs or 11+ exams. I have taught across both Key Stages and have gained knowledge and understanding of teaching strategies; I work hard to understand children’s individual needs and tailor my teaching methods to suit them.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends

Experience: I have taught Years 5&6, building a happy and productive learning environment which met the needs of all pupils within the class. I developed my understanding of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and end of Key Stage exams, as well as the 11-plus exam, which a number of children in my class were preparing for. I have also worked in an early years and lower Key Stage 1 setting, developing my understanding of early years development, pedagogy and strategies for teaching.
