Information about Charlotte
I am a second year student studying Earth Sciences at the University of Oxford. I have achieved outstanding grades throughout my career as a student, with a current 1st in first year exams. At school I gained 11 A*s at GCSE level and achieved 4 A*s at A level in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geography. Additionally, I achieved full marks on my EPQ and gained an A in Further Maths AS. Having graduated so recently gives me great familiarity with the new, more difficult A level specifications and puts me in a unique position to offer very specialised tutoring. My strong understanding in all subjects I`m offering means I could tutor in these subjects at any secondary or primary school age level, particularly maths. Outside the classroom, I enjoyed being vice-captain of my school`s 1st netball team and volunteering as a reading aide in primary schools and at year 7/8 netball club. I now play university netball and am involved with several societies including Oxford Females into STEM.
Availability: I can offer fairly intense tutoring with high availability during school holidays. I am away in Oxford during term time which lasts 8 weeks, so I cannot do any tutoring then. However, Oxford terms are so short that I am often at home for the first 3 or so school weeks at the beginning and end of each term. Contact me for a more detailed enquiry as to my availability.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: I am adaptable to the tutoring desires of each student and would tailor my teaching accordingly. I can offer specific exam technique targeted tutoring for the science subjects, breaking down how to do past paper questions as I have always found this the method for exam success. If an understanding of the theory is the primary issue, I can break subjects down and start from first principles. Over my school career I have had plenty of practice in tutoring my friends in our subjects and also doing some teaching work in primary schools which has enhanced my ability as a tutor.

Charlotte was great at communication beforehand and during the tuition She went out of her way to make the tuition possible She was always thoroughly prepared and put in a large amount of time beforehand and with marking to ensure the sessions could be as useful as possible She really helped my son with A level chemistry and was enormously good value. I would highly recommend her
