Information about Katie

As a qualified full-time teacher with a Mathematics degree from the University of Southampton, I am skilled in teaching and tutoring Maths to students of all ages. I received an IMA scholarship to complete my PGCE and NQT, and was recognized as having the potential to be an inspirational teacher. My passion for education is demonstrated by my ongoing interest in the field, as demonstrated by my study of the ";Health and Wellness in Education"; module, which explores the connection between health and education.

I currently work at Sotogrande International School in Spain, where I deliver a normal timetable each week and have taught children virtually. I am proficient in using IT and have many innovative methods for teaching. I have helped many of my previous clients achieve their best scores on various Maths exams and believe that a positive attitude towards Maths, combined with hard work and practice, is key to academic success.

To learn more about my teaching style and see some of my work, check out my YouTube channel at [contact detail removed]. Katie is a good tutor. Unfortunately I had to stop as when she came back in September she increased her fees from £15.00 to £22.50 without prior warning. This worked out far too expensive based on amount of lessons needed especially when close to exams. Wish her all the best.

Katie has been great! She is prompt and Harry has really improved with her additional help.

He has engaged so much better with a tutor closer to his own age!

Katie was the perfect tutor for our daughter. Lively, enthusiastic and friendly. Made the lessons go quickly and really challenged our daughter`s thinking (in a good way). Not at all "teacherly" so didn`t seem like more unwanted school work. Punctual, reliable and we`re very happy to recommend her.

Katie has proven herself to be a tremendous asset, and has aided in our son`s studies, to the extent that his anticipated GCSE grade has jumped from a `D` to a `B`: she is dedicated, professional and very personable, and we would have no hesitation in recommending her to to others.
