I believe every person can improve their Maths and Economics. Often a person will need help to overcome the obstacle in their path that looks like an impossible mountain to get rid of. Help is on the way, by logically breaking down concepts, problems and approaches I have had success after success with students who have underachieved or not achieved at all. I am calm, patient and encouraging, though value self-discipline and hard work. What you put in is what you get out. You need to have a goal or ambition in life. I start with an initial assessment, design a programme or intervention and also help students prepare for assessments and examinations. I communicate progress with the student as well as with the parent(s) or carer(s).

Availability: Evenings and weekends

Willing to travel: 4 miles

Experience: 20 years of teaching, increasing students marks by 1 to two grades. Positive interaction with students, able to motivate and guide students to perform at their best. KS3, KS4 and KS5, GCSE and A levels following the following examination boards, Edexcel, CIE, AQA, OCR.
