Unaware that dyslexia was preventing me from processing classroom content in the same way as other students, I struggled to keep up throughout school. After years of frustration and teaching myself out of class I finally nailed down my optimal learning approach in university and graduated with a first-class degree in Civil Engineering one of the most demanding applied mathematics courses.
Through this transition, I discovered a great deal about how people learn differently. This in turn has enabled me to help others by recognising how their minds work and adapting my teaching approach accordingly. My ability to adapt in this way is my greatest point of difference as a tutor.
I now work in investment finance and tutor maths because of the fulfilment it gives me to help children and in some cases adults with their work.

Availability: Self employed and therefore flexible on times weekdays and weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: Tutored GCSE and A-level maths.

1st Class Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Cardiff University. Two Academic awards.
