I`m a senior leader in a primary school setting with many years of teaching and tutoring experience. I continue to tutor as I love to see the amazing progress 1:1 sessions can have on students, and know the effect that additional confidence can have for students in the classroom. I’m hoping that I can assist several students with the current difficulties faced with home learning.

I consider myself an English expert and have led in this area in my practice for several years, and believe I can get even the most stubborn of writers and readers to enjoy this subject area. I also love the creative arts and incorporate as many creative approaches into all sessions - including maths and science! These are my passions but I also teach all other subjects.

My philosophy is to teach in a way that makes learning meaningful as well and enjoyable for my students. Never will you see a page of sums or writing without a creative way to get into it from me - I simply do not believe that is the way children learn best.

My goal is always to ensure that students can see their progress just as much as I can, and for them to discover new ways of learning that fit their personality. Knowing HOW we learn is such an important key to making progress in the future! I have had only success with every single student that I have tutored, and know how to ensure students make accelerated progress.

Experience: I have been teaching across various ages in England for 8 years now, and have additional years of teaching experience in Australia. I have also taught in Uganda.

I have been tutoring for over 15 years to students of all different ages, from 4-18years, in English, Maths, the Arts and Humanities, as well as on exam preparation, essay preparation and mastering various types of writing genres.
