Francesca

I am a Postgraduate student at UCL. In 2022, I graduated with a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. I offer excellent in-person and online tuition for students in primary school through to KS3, GCSE, and A Level, in Maths, Further Maths, Science, and Entrance Exams. I work with my students to improve, by providing a stand-out tutoring service based on my strong academic background. I also wish to boost my students` confidence through my teaching, by encouraging a positive, can-do attitude towards school work. I have 3+ years one-to-one tutoring experience, and my past students have been accepted into top secondary schools, sixth form colleges, and top universities including Oxbridge.

Availability: I have a preference for online lessons, but in-person lessons can be arranged dependent on location. I am available most weekdays after school, at the weekends, and during school holidays.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: During sixth form, I assisted teachers in lower school science lessons during my free periods. I found it very rewarding to help younger students with their work, and continued assisting teachers for two years. Since summer 2020, I have been part of an online, student-led tutoring organisation. As a Tutor and Student Mentor, I provide tuition and guidance for A-Level students from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. It is rewarding for me to support students that have fallen behind the curriculum as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, through my subject knowledge and experiences. As a Mentor, I have helped students with their university applications, in particular, with Oxbridge admissions tests and interviews. I have also provided a similar private service to students outside of this organisation, and would like to obtain more private work.
